AIA Georgia Honor Awards
2012 Honor Award Nomination Form
The AIA Georgia Honor Awards Program is part of a long-standing tradition of recognizing individuals and organizations for their outstanding achievements in support of the profession of architecture and the AIA. Through these awards, we aim to celebrate each other's accomplishments and increase the public awareness of AIA Georgia and the profession of Architecture. The 2012 Nomination deadline is November 9.
AIA Georgia Architecture Firm Award
Any firm located in Georgia, or the Georgia office of a firm with multiple locations, whether an individual or an organization of architects, in which the continuing collaboration among individuals of the firm, or successor firm, has resulted in the consistent producing of distinguished architecture for a period of at least 10 years from the Georgia office.

Bernard B. Rothschild Award
The Rothschild Award is the highest honor that AIA Georgia can bestow on an individual, alive or deceased. In honor of Bernard B Rothschild FAIA, this award is in recognition of the most distinguished service to the profession of Architecture in the State of Georgia by an architect who exemplifies the principles of the profession. This award may or may not be given every year, and only one may be awarded each year.

AIA Georgia Emerging Professional Award
Recognizes an Associate AIA member as well as any architect, residing and licensed to practice architecture in Georgia, whose initial date of licensure in any US jurisdiction is less than 10 years and not more than 15 years after graduation from an accredited school of architecture and who is a member in good standing with AIA Georgia.
Criteria and Submission Requirements
AIA Georgia Bronze Medal Award
Honors any individual who or organization which has exemplified the objectives of the American Institute of Architects. The mission of the Institute is defined as "The American Institute of Architects is the voice of the architectural profession and the resource for it members in service to society."

AIA Georgia Certificate of Honorable Recognition
This award is open to any individual or organization that has made a significant contribution to the profession of architecture and/or the built environment.

AIA Georgia Certificate of Service
Any individual who has contributed to the success of an AIA Georgia sponsored endeavor including but not limited to programs, committees, Task Forces, conference, etc.
