Sarah Hall Cowart Student Leadership Initiative
To Assist Architectural Students in Gaining Community and Professional Leadership Experience While in Architecture School
This scholarship program honors the late Sarah Hall Cowart and helps to remove the financial burden of students attending SCAD who want to attend the national AIA Student leadership conferences.
Eligibility
Students must be studying architecture at the Savannah College of Arts and Design and holding AIAS office of president, president-elect, treasurer or secretary. Funds will be disbursed on student participation.
Awards
$300 for president, president-elect, treasurer and secretary of SCAD AIAS to attend AIA National Grassroots.
$300 for president, president-elect, treasurer and secretary of SCAD AIAS to attend AIA National Forum.
$1,500 personal stipend for SCAD AIAS president to offset time invested in leading the AIAS chapter. Dispersed $500 per semester.
$3,000 for AIAS special projects dealing with a community oriented legacy project.
Subject to fund availability - $200 for any AIAS SCAD student attending Forum and Grassroots.
