Members of AIA work in many ways to promote the profession of architecture. In addition to their contribution of time and energy, many members wish to provide direct financial support to specific causes that align with the Institute’s objectives and values. In Georgia, the vehicle for this kind of support is the Architecture Foundation of Georgia. The Foundation exists to achieve the following objectives:
- To improve and enhance educational opportunities in the field of architecture
- To encourage and support construction or renovation of housing facilities for the physically or economically disadvantaged
- To promote and highlight those activities of AIA Architects in Georgia which advance public understanding of the value of architecture and the beneficial role of the architect in their community.
As AIA Architects seek to redefine their role, there is no better way to gain influence and credibility than by supporting change in our communities. The Architecture Foundation of Georgia’s Board of Trustees invites you to become involved in noteworthy and meaningful activities.
