AIA Georgia Equity in Architecture wants to help women and gender non-binary folks in Georgia become licensed architects.  Licensure allows for increased earning potential early in one’s career as well as promotes entrepreneurship and independence. Obstacles to attaining licensure include time, money, and domestic obligations.  While we can’t give you more hours in the day, we can provide some financial assistance!

Please share this opportunity with others – one of the many ways firms, organizations, and individuals can assist and promote minorities in the field is to help make licensure more attainable.  Taking the ARE Exam is not cheap and waiting until you’ve passed all exams to get reimbursed can be tough.  We will reimburse the cost of the exam as soon as you provide proof of exam registration.  It is not dependent on you passing the exam – although we hope you do!

We encourage all on the path to licensure to apply – men, women, students, recent graduates, seasoned professionals, and everyone in between.
