AIA Georgia members from across the state are invited to attend on February 28, 2017. The 2017 Georgia General Assembly Session promises to be very interesting for architects. New legislation has been filed regarding SCAD and licensing and another for structural engineers that affects architects in the State. There will be plenty to report on and (3) FREE LU continuing education credits.

- Ryan Taylor, AIA – to give a 10-15 minute update on developments with Codes regulations in the state
- John Hudgison, Associate AIA and Director, Building Inspections & Code Enforcement for the City of Columbus

All attendees will be matched with their local legislators for visits during the day. Attendees will also be provided with relevant information and talking points on the bills AIA Georgia and National are watching.
