The Georgia Department of Community Affairs is in the process of adopting a new commercial building code: the 2018 International Building Code (IBC). Please join Tom Allen of ICC to review significant changes between the 2012 version (with Georgia amendments) we’re currently using and the 2018 IBC. Dee Leclair, AIA GA’s representative on the DCA task force reviewing the 2018 IBC will participate so she can note your concerns and present them to the task force. The adoption process is moving quickly so please don’t miss this opportunity to engage your ICC contact and your DCA representative.
