The Georgia Department of Community Affairs is in the process of adopting a new residential building code: the 2018 International Residential Code (IRC). Please join Tom Allen of ICC to review significant changes between the 2012 version (with Georgia amendments) we’re currently using and the 2018 IRC. Ryan Taylor, AIA GA’s representative on the DCA task force reviewing the 2018 IRC will participate so he can note your concerns and present them to the task force. The adoption process is moving quickly so please don’t miss this opportunity to engage your ICC contact and your DCA representative.
