Join us for this update on building codes in Georgia, during which we’ll lay out our schedule for the remainder of 2019 and ask you to raise any issues you feel we need to address. We’ll provide an update on the last SCAC meeting (in June 2019) and Georgia’s path toward implementation of the next round of building codes on 01|01|2020 – including where to find Georgia’s amendments. We’ll review your opportunities to participate in upcoming energy code workshops – including some hosted by AIA GA. We’ll also address a few other issues like a concrete inspection standard, electrical requirements for conference rooms, and the DCA task force work to start later this year. Finally, we’ll announce the date for our second annual building codes workshop this fall.
