The Auburn Avenue Research Library, in collaboration with Hammonds House Museum and Creative Milieu, will host Architecture Dreams and Jazz in Paint: The Art of Oscar Harris. Eloquently curated by Tracy Murrell, this compelling exhibition is a vibrant exploration into the lifelong artistic evolution of Oscar Harris and the inseparable connection between his art, architecture and love of jazz. Oscar Harris is an accomplished artist and retired master architect, responsible for creating many iconic architectural structures in the city of Atlanta. Mr. Harris is also the author of Oscar: The Memoir of a Master Architect. Curator Tracy Murrell is an Atlanta-based visual artist, Curator for Hammonds House Museum and a consultant with the National Black Arts Festival.
