Join AIA Georgia and AIA Atlanta for a special forum and breakfast with the candidates from Georgia’s Secretary of State race—an election that will profoundly affect the architecture profession.

AIA Georgia President and NCARB Architect Licensing Advisor Kathryn Bedette, AIA will serve as moderator.

The Georgia Primary on May 22, resulted in former U.S. Congressman John Barrow securing the Democratic nomination, while Alpharetta Mayor David Belle Isle (Alpharetta) and State Representative Brad Raffensberger (Johns Creek) will have a runoff on July 24, for the Republican nomination.

AIA Atlanta and AIA Georgia have partnered to host a Secretary of State Candidates Forum and Breakfast on Thursday, June 28^th, and we anticipate having all or nearly all of these candidates with us that morning.  Invites went to each of them the morning after the primary election.  Kathryn Bedette, both AIA Georgia 2018 President and our State Licensing Advisor for Architecture, will be our moderator.

We would also like to have YOU in attendance, to learn about the candidates and to hold them accountable for the issues that matter most to architects.   We have made the event affordable so that all members can attend without concern – at $10 per ticket.
