AIA Georgia Bronze Medal

The Bronze Medal is bestowed upon any individual who or organization which has furthered the objectives of the American Institute of Architects. The mission of the Institute is “The American Institute of Architects is the voice of the architectural profession and the resource for its members in service to society.”

Nominations will close Friday, March 24 at 6:00 p.m. ET

Candidates will be evaluated based on information submitted as it relates to one or more of the following:

  • The individual or organization shall have made significant contributions to AIA Georgia.
  • The individual or organization shall have made significant contributions to any other “area of interest” related to Architecture in Georgia or the community at large.

Any AIA Georgia Member in good standing may make a nomination for this award. Self-nominations are not allowed. Each nomination shall contain the following:

  • A nomination letter, that summarizes the contributions made, not to exceed one page.

For all those nominated for this award, the following materials will be required in order to be evaluated by the Honor Awards jury and can be submitted at the time of nomination (under “upload nominations materials” on the form):

  • A brief biography and curricula vitae of the candidate, not to exceed three pages.
  • A brief summary of the candidate’s achievements and contributions to the objectives of the Institute, not to exceed one page.
